MUST HAVE AEROSPACE AND/OR DEFENCE EXPERIENCE

Following exceptional YoY profits and the impending expansion of their client base, this esteemed Global Aerospace Major is seeking an ambitious Senior Procurement Manager to join their high-achieving team, leading the Electromechanical procurement category.

As the organization enters a period of unprecedented growth, this position will work cross-functionally with multiple business units to create effective sourcing strategies for critical product lines whilst forging long-standing relationships with a global supplier base.

As a firm that prioritizes innovative working methods, this position will be well-suited to an individual looking to assume autonomy in their role with a 'self-starter' mindset and the ability to identify and implement new methods of working.

Senior Procurement Manager, Electromechanical Components job profile: -

• Manage a procurement spend of $50m across the electromechanical components' category
• Work on transitioning between suppliers for specific products
• Conducting analysis into supplier performance, spend, cost, purchase power, and competitor benchmarking to create robust procurement category strategies that maximise savings and quality on products sourced
• Engaging global stakeholders to sell the vision and direction of the business, ensuring ideas for performance improvement are identified and implemented

Senior Procurement Manager, Electronics requirements: -

• Strong background in electronics and mechanical procurement, specifically within the aerospace and defence sectors
• Experience working within the aerospace or defence industries is essential
• Experience in transfer between contract suppliers
• Direct line management experience is required
• Strong academics with a degree in a relevant discipline
